What a great night of football we had last Friday for the Blaydon and District Girls’ 7-aside competition at Blaydon Leisure Centre. The Emmaville team were super in their attitude, effort and quality of play. The team played four games and were dominant in each, drawing one and winning the remaining three. We were so impressed with the players, and the with each game they got better and better. We kept four clean sheets and as the tournament progressed we got more and more confident in front of goal. A very big well done to the team.
Round two is not until May, but we are thoroughly looking forward to it.
